Longing (Greek: λαχτάρα) can be a wonderful, stimulating feeling. If longing increases in the extreme, however, it can be almost unbearably heavy and turn into a bittersweet burden. My project addresses this emotional ambivalence. Material, weight, form, mobility and sense play an essential role in this work of art with an output in form of three necklaces. Thus, feelings get tangible and comprehensible so that it becomes possible for me to celebrate the variety of emotions.
