Collecting things is an anthropological constant that has accompanied us since humans were hunter-gatherers. Especially in early childhood, an aesthetic action develops through collecting and organizing. With her work Street Treasures Collection, the artist draws on this childlike, unbiased desire to collect. The origin of this series of objects lies in the artist's personal collection of objects, which she records photographically on forays through her neighborhood. Using the photos, she abstracts the form of each found object, then produces them by hand in the respective material and creates new compositions.
